Set up a gesture, assign an action to that gesture, hold down the right mouse button, and perform that gesture. Do so and MouseWrangler will execute the action you assign to that gesture. By performing gestures on the desktop or on the special Gesture Scratchpad you can simulate keystrokes, run applications, or open files.

You can install MouseWrangler on your Windows-powered machine, but only if you really want to. You see, to get started with MouseWrangler, you do not have to install anything; you just have to download an archive, extract its contents, and then run an executable. But if you want to install MouseWrangler, a setup wizard is included. Run the setup executable and a setup wizard will show up and install MouseWrangler on your PC.

While MouseWrangler is running, you will see an icon in the system tray. Double click it and you will be presented with the Edit Gestures window; from said window you can create new gestures, view existing gestures, and edit existing gestures. Right click the MouseWrangler system tray icon and you will be presented with a context menu that lists the following: Configure (similar to a Settings menu), Edit Gestures (view, edit, create gestures), About, and Exit MouseWrangler.

To create a mouse gesture you must select a combination of movements for the gesture and you must assign an action to the gesture. Three types of actions can be assigned to the gesture: single keystroke, multiple keystrokes, run file or program.
To perform a mouse gesture, you must hold down the right mouse button and perform the combination of movements assigned to that gesture. You can do this on your desktop or in the special Gesture Scratchpad. Once you perform a gesture, the action assigned to it will be executed.

MouseWrangler is free software. If you find the application useful, consider making a donation.

Thanks to MouseWrangler you can launch applications, open files, or simulate keystrokes by performing a gesture with the mouse.

Pros

MouseWrangler is portable; it does not have to be installed. You can install the application though, if you really want to. Creating mouse gestures is a simple matter. You can assign three types of actions to a gesture: single keystroke, multiple keystrokes, run file or program. There’s a special Gesture Scratchpad that hides out of sight. MouseWrangler is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
